I need to paint over some rather awful brown kitchen wall tiles. In the UK I would buy tile paint.. can I buy it here and what is it called?.

Thanks.

At any regular DIY centre you can buy a product by JULIEN which shows on the front of the tin that it is 'sous-couche' (undercoat) to cover 'les surfaces lisse' (slippery surfaces) Verre, Stratifie, Carrelage Mural' (glass, formica, wall tiles).  The JULIEN products come in different tin colours - this is one of the white/yellow tins.  Good Luck

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM? THOSE AWFUL BROWN TILES . THAT SEEM TO BE EVER POPULAR IN FRANCE . ANYWAY GO TO LE ROI MERLIN AND BUY GARAGE FLOOR PAINT IT ONLY COMES IN WHITE BUT I PAINTED ALL MY TILES AND THEY COME UP GREAT . YOU NEED ABOUT 2 OR 3 COATS BUT THE FINISHED RESULT IS GREAT

ITS GOOD FOR FLOOR TILES ALSO STRONG RESISTANT AND NICE TO LOOK AT . IT BEATS THOSE AWFUL BROWN TILES
