A good cattery is always a problem down here.  Do check that they don't throw all the cats in together as some catteries do.  Complete disregard for the amount of contagious disease down here and the fact cats are not pack animals and do not like living en masse.  Otherwise I found they were put into tiny cages in a couple of catteries. 

The one cattery we used lost our big, male tabby, he escaped never to be found again so we've not used this again.  We fly a professional cat sitter over from the UK and that isn't cheap but it's the only way we can go away together, we have 7 in-house puddies now and a number of visiting strays which we don't encourage.   We do need a top notch cattery down here.

just saw an advert on le bon coin for a cattery for 10 euros per night in Tourettes Levens. The pictures looked nice!
