If you've read a book called 'Almost French' by Sarah Turnbull (which I recommend highly before you come to live in France ) then you will know that the French do adore their animals and love to pamper them with regular visits to the 'hairdresser' etc... particularly in Paris - not sure about Britanny though! So I am sure a pet bakery would go down a treat!

Les, is your cat black by any chance?

Kay,

Firstly, you could pose the same question on the Brittany AngloINFO here . . . . .this may draw a different response, you could also look for help and advice maybe on places to look for houses etc.

I would have thought the small fluffy dog market would be ready in France as they tend to be spoilt rotten, but my cat Treize likes his custard creams with a passion . . . .

Best of luck with the venture though . .

Regards, Les

Re: Pet Bakery

Yes Kay, the French love their pets every bit as much as the English do.  I have never so far heard of this extending to actually baking their pets though.
