I also did the RYA Powerboat Level 2 with Oceanpro and can highly recommend them.

English Girl, I can highly recommend OCEANPRO, based in Beaulieu sur mer, just out of Nice.  My husband took the ICC with them last year, in english, and they were also kind enough to take me (terrified of the sea!) out for a taster - it was great - guess who wants a boat now?!

I did mine at http://www.easy-nautic.com/permis.html at Cannes Mandelieu.  I thought the guy was very serious about and he would take people out for free extra lessons if they a problem with something.  They were also a bit cheaper than other places. He speaks English.

You have to take a multiple choice test in French, so you need to be able to read French a bit.
