Hey,
the best thing to do is to try Gymnastics Gyms in the Area. Most of them offer open training hours where a lot of local Traceurs and Tricksters Gather to practice some of the harder moves. There is a good gym in Nice, Avenue des diable bleus I think its in. There you can train 3 times a week. Good luck :)

Oh that parkour thing!! I wish I could recommend a club for your son but parkour seems to be more like individual expression in this area rather than an organized practice. I guess we are missing the urban identity to really give it critical mass.
When I was giving an Internet security course to some youngsters, I saw a video from a lad in Valbonne who was quite enthusiastic about parkour - check it out - maybe e-mail him and see if he can help you with contacts,
