We're an international and very mixed group, staying for a week in a mountain hut directly on the slope in an Austrian ski/snowboard resort. As we're not in the village but on the mountain, you can only get there skiing/boarding and our après ski will be the crazy group games that we'll do together - just as we'll be cooking and eating together etc. As we're organizing this ourselves (this is not a commercial offer) ...

My Mother and Father were in Barcelona when they got caught up in the flight problems, they had no option but to put up in a hotel as there was no information given and could not get through to Ryan Air - on Sunday they had had enough and decided to try and get to Calais so they hired a car country by country to avoid the cross border charges but even so they paid a fortune and eventually when we heard that the chann...

We are supposed to be going to drive to the UK tonight via the Chunnel to spend New Year there - but just seen the weather reports for the Cotswolds (where we are heading) - Anyone know if there are problems on the roads because of snow there. We will be in a 4 x 4 but my wife is getting a bit worried about getting stuck there and is threatening to cancel the trip. If anyone has info I would be most grateful....

We decided to go down to France last week-end on the old Triumph, and ended up staying at Classic bike camping in Charente, just off the RN10 north of Angouleme. It is a great bikers site run by a Scottish couple, and ideally located if you are going south to Spain/Portugal.
