CANARY ISLANDS (Spain)

What do you think of lunar landscapes? Located in the Atlantic Ocean, 100km off the coast of north-western Africa, the Canary Islands are made up of seven main islands -Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro, and are divided into two provinces: Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Canaries were originally volcanic islands, and for this reason their black sand and impressive orography represent the Canary identity. Mount Teide is Spain’s highest point, standing at 3.718m, as well as a beautiful symbol of Tenerife. Last but not least, this region is also known for being one of the most touristy spots in Spain and it’s celebrated for its Carnival, an explosion of music, fun and parades.
